In an effort to avoid the office cafeteria’s MSG-laden food, I have started bringing lunch to work.
Most days, it is an egg/tuna/chicken mayo sandwich and a salad. I prepare the filling the evening before and make the sandwich in the morning. Usually there are extras and KJ eats them for breakfast.
I’d admit that it is a little more effort and does cost more than the cafeteria’s $4 veg-rice. But it sure beats having an MSG attack afterwards.
Today, I had somen with grilled chicken and a huge salad on the side. It was delicious!

Don’t tell me you prepared the grilled chicken in the morn?!?!
I grill it the evening before and have it cold for lunch. I may do it in the morning next time – just marinade the night before and pop it in the oven while I pack my stuff for work. 10 minutes for a chicken leg – no sweat
