For the first time in my life, I was excited about going to an IT show. Yes, even I am surprised.
Of course, I owed my excitement to my planned laptop purchase during the show. So understandably, after I bought my laptop, my patience started running out. It didn’t help that it was the end of a work day and my calves were aching from my heels.
But. I digress.
This was the objective of braving the first-day crowds :-
Before this, I used to lug my company laptop home every night to do some internet surfing and organising of photos. Eventually I thought it is better to do all these on a personal laptop and we started to source around during our weekends to Funan.
Being the non-tech savvy female, my husband helped to narrow down my choices, navigated around the exhibition hall and deciphered the various flyers and pricelists they were handing out during the PC show (which by the way, at the rate you receive the flyers you would think that paper was free). So I just paid and collected my loot, which came with a whole host of freebies. Thanks to Vern for helping us carry the stuff.
