Dad

My father passed away 4 years ago on 27 April 2004. He was riding a bicycle, on the way back from work and was hit by a cab. He was less than 10 minutes from home when the accident happened.
If dad was still around, he would be 60 years old.

Tomorrow, KJ will be off to his 1 week reservist training. I jokingly asked if he needs an assistant so that I could go with him. I offer to clean his gear, wipe his perspiration, bring his food.

One night while tending to Xinyue, I just suddenly [...]

Xinyue – 3 months

Meet Xinyue, my daughter. She is about 3 months old now. Her feeding and sleeping habits are totally inconsistent, but generally she drinks 4 ozs of milk every 3-4 hours, naps for 30 mins to 1 hour every 2 hours or so.
She usually falls asleep before midnight, has a feed at around 3am and wakes up at [...]

New beginning

I started a blog a little over a year ago. Recently, I gave birth to my daughter, and am inspired to start afresh, and be a better and happier person. My new blog will be more colourful and more diligently updated. Most importantly, it will be the happy place where I can go whenever I need [...]

Today marks my first day back at work. I arrived at the office with 3 big bags – laptop, pump and miscellaneous stuff. Lots to do, little time.
I have yet to get back into the work mindframe yet, although there are alot of things to attend to. Mostly I am just trying to get used [...]
